Air Flow Research LT1/LT4 Small Block Chevrolet heads are designed for the Gen II reverse cooled Small Block Chevrolet engine from 1992-1997. They feature all the same benefits and quality components as Air Flow Research Gen I Small Block Chevrolet heads. Additionally they are machined to accept both center bolt and perimeter bolt valve covers. Not compatible with self-aligning rocker arms.
Small head bolt hole heads are specifically designed for severe endurance, high compression, high cylinder pressure, alcohol fuel applications. Two head bolts in Small Block Chevy heads are inherently thin with the OEM design. These smaller head bolts add an extra 1/16 inch of material to thin areas increasing the strength of the head. The heads are supplied with four special ARP 3/8 X 7/16 head studs that must be used in this head. AFR small head bolt heads has all the same features and benefits of AFR standard heads.
AFR 195cc Enforcer Cylinder heads for the Small Block Chevrolet feature Permanent Mold “as cast” surfaces on the intake runners, exhaust runners and combustion chambers that allows for extremely accurate and repeatable port location/performance. This budget friendly head is perfect for 350 to 400 cubic inch engines operating below 6000 RPM. They come fully assembled with the identical components found in higher end CNC ported cylinder heads; such as ARP rockers studs, PAC Racing springs, viton valve seals, AFR adjustable guide plates, machined bead valve locks, hardened spring cups and ductile iron seats in addition to one piece 8mm 21-4N stainless steel valves. They are available in straight or angle plug or bare if you prefer to set them up in-house. Sold as a single piece, 2 are required per engine.
