Autotec Series forged pistons for the LS Series are available in 12 and 15° configurations featuring either flat tops, inverted dome, or milled dish designs. Standard ring packs are 1.5 1.5 3.0 widths with reduced radial dimensions. Wrist pins are either .927 or .945 as indicated in the technical specifications, and wire locks are included. Broached pin-oilers and gas accumulator grooves are incorporated at no additional cost. Reluctor wheel clearance is also designed in with no additional machining required. Domes and combinations not listed are available as a custom piston.
Autotec flat top pistons are manufactured on forged side relief, 4032 low expansion, high silicon material excellent for street or strip applications for either the 12° and 15° heads. They feature:
CNC precision machined ring grooves for 1.5 1.5 3.0mm rings.
Top ring land gas distribution grooves serve to enhance performance and improve ring seal.
.927 diameter, 2.250 long, 51 series steel wrist pins pin fit, wire locks, broached pin oilers, and gas accumulator grooves are included at no extra charge.
