Dart’s first products were purpose built Hemi cylinder heads that quickly dominated Top Fuel and Funny Car classes and ultimately helped shatter the barriers of 300 mph and the 4 second Funny Car ET. Today, Dart heads set the standards high in every racing class, and the company offers race winning gear to fit any budget. Dart designs, manufactures, and tests every one of its products in-house for ultimate quality control. In addition to a wide range of aluminum and iron cylinder head applications, Dart also manufacturers engine blocks, intake manifolds, complete top-end kits, and top-quality bearings and engine hardware.

Like Hewlett-Packard, Boeing, and Apple Computer, Dart Machinery began in humble surroundings. Richard Maskin founded Dart in 1981 in a two-car garage in Oak Park, Michigan. In the years since Maskin started his business with a desk and a telephone, Dart has become the proven leader in aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds and engine blocks.
Dart has long since expanded its product line to include small block Ford and Honda components. We'll leave Honda out because, well, you know ... Honda.
Dart is committed to producing the best engine components available and all development, machining and assembly are done at Dart’s own facilities in order to maintain the highest standards of quality. State of the art CNC machining centers, a computer controlled dynamometer and the proprietary “Speed Flow” technology / wet flow bench are among the assets which contribute to “the Dart advantage” ... and it shows in the efficiency of Dart's cylinder heads for the SB Ford.
