Domed top pistons for the Chevrolet 502 Big Block

Dome top pistons in a Chevrolet 502 engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 10.0 to 13.0:1 range which makes them a good option for street or competition engines with aluminum heads and larger than stock camshafts. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of head with standard valve locations and will normally fit camshafts to well over .700 valve lift.
