Domed pistons in a 434 cubic inch Chevrolet engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 13.0:1 or 14.0:1 range which makes them a good option for naturally aspirated engines using nitrous and aluminum heads where use of race gas is acceptable. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of standard and aluminum cylinder heads and will normally fit camshafts to over .650 valve lift.
